Comforting team who listen to you
Being told that you need to have a tooth extracted can be a traumatic thing for people. I like to be able to educate you on why it needs to happen. And in the case that it’s an emergency, get you in as quick as we can. There are measures that we can take when we are doing an extraction of a tooth that can help you be more comfortable. Definitely ensuring that you have adequate anesthesia is one of those things. I’m always telling my patients, you know, if you’re having an issue while we are in the process, please raise your hand. I will stop. I will always stop and give you that control. We also have nitrous that we can utilize that can help with anxiety in these situations. And we will extract that tooth as atraumatically as we can. And we can also discuss what the options you have of being able to replace that tooth are.
